CAROLINA HERRERA SS’26
Location: Madrid, Plaza Mayor
Carolina Herrera presented its Spring/Summer 2026 collection in Madrid’s historic Plaza Mayor, marking its first main runway outside New York. Inspired by the city’s 17th-century Golden Age and the vibrant ’80s Movida movement, the show fused heritage with a forward-looking vision.
A 450-meter pale-pink runway curved through the square, the architecture bathed in soft evening light. The set design fused monumentality with the intimacy of place: sweeping surfaces, dramatic vistas, and bold colour turned the plaza into a house of Herrera.
